Ratush started his own practice in 2019 after moving to Massachusetts. He had been practicing in New York since 2006. Ratush is a former business school student and utilizes what he learned to help him understand the interworking of corporate entities as they related to estate planning. He also has a Master of Laws in Taxation. The complexity of this type of law is something that drew him into the legal field.

“Every case is a problem to be solved, an issue to be worked out, and it requires creative thinking and interdisciplinary applications,” he said.

As an attorney, Ratush believes that being able to bring several related fields of law together helps him be successful in estate planning.

“You can’t really do estate planning without the ability to understand what divorce does to an estate plan, or how it weighs into business succession or how corporations work from the inside,” he said.  Pulling all those factors together and having the right place to help his clients are what make his practice a success.
