Share Beauty and Joy's Transcendental Counseling Helps Clients Open their Minds
The last several years of working through a pandemic shifted the way that Kristine Sliwa thought about work and how she was using her skills. She decided to take what she had learned from meditation, journaling and intuition, and share those methods with others.
Last fall she left her job to create Share Beauty and Joy. Her transcendental counseling gives people the freedom to open their mind and heal.
“I can help you get over your fear,” Sliwa said, adding that often when people are in the midst of a session, “fear falls away from them.”
During a session she helps people glide into a state of relaxation to access their subconscious and collective consciousness. Through this state, clients are able to access a different stage of guidance and awareness. Some are even able to connect with the spiritual world and gain a heightened level of peace and understanding.
That spiritual connection amazes Sliwa when her clients encounter it. “There’s so much more than what is right in front of us,” she said.
The name Share Beauty and Joy comes from this way of looking at the world. “It’s the feeling of sharing the beauty of these experiences with other people,” she said. “And the joy of having that guidance in your everyday life, in knowing that you’re not alone.”
Sharing and Connecting
Discovering Venture X Holyoke was key to Sliwa being able to start her business. The office itself gave her new business a sense of professionalism. Other businesses in the space, many of them also new entrepreneurs, shared a welcoming, community spirit which encouraged and supported her to build Share Beauty and Joy.
“As a starting business, being able to go in there and look for help and actually get it, that’s made a huge difference,” Sliwa said, adding that business can rely upon each other for advice and get ideas for growth. Seeing others in Venture X Holyoke be successful has also given her a boost.
The Venture X Holyoke staff have gone beyond expectations to help whenever they can with whatever she needs. It’s a reason she feels any business has the tools to succeed at Venture X Holyoke.
“They are cheerleaders for your business to do well,” Sliwa said.
With her private office she’s able to meet clients both via Zoom and in person.
Sliwa’s shift to find a new career came during the pandemic, after extended time at home. She’s seen similar needs from her clients who are looking for solutions after years of living with their own thoughts.
“It’s like a global revolution. Everyone is looking for a new way to live,” she said. “It changed the dynamic of what a work relationship should be into what it could be.”
